What ever happened to the Trenton Golf Course?

If you will recall, last fall the Trenton Golf Course was closed and a company was looking to put a rock quarry there. What has happened? Well, the permit is still under review officially, but if you go out and look at the former course it looks as if dirt is being moved and part of it will even be cropland this summer.

So, what is really going on?

If you have a tip, let us know...

The family that now owns this property is intending to farm it.

It was a very nice Golf Course to play. Too bad the Powell brothers their families and others couldn't make a go of it.

Must be a conspiracy! I bet its the gold buried there. Yeap I said GOLD! Everyone knows the Cherokee buried tons of it during the removal of the indain from the east. And everyones looking for it! Thats got to be it, what else could it be, really? I watched the video about it and the only thing I could come up with is that the locals want the GOLD for them selves. But the quarry wants it too! Man, you people need some real news down your way, isn't the current world crisis enough? Or do you think your isolation will protect you. GO HICKVILLE LOSERS!! P.S IF you people are so worried about the indain's Trail of Tears why don't you give them back their land?

Especially, in this community. An inmate can escape and the jail is not held accountable for it.
