Adult Business: Not just in Elkton

If my source is right, the county if also fair game for any adult business that might want to come here. Not only is it OK, but it could go unregulated (except for anything the state has in place).

At least that would be a new business actually COMING to the county that would employ some citizens. I know we have some that would qualify to work in adult entertainment.

LOL, Disappointed Citizen. I agree about the influx of new business. The problems is that there are no County ordinances that would regulate a business, such as an Adult Business, "putting up shop" next door to a school or a church. I believe that the majority of the county would agree that there needs to be something in place to regulate business, even if it is new business.

We need to address this with our Fiscal Court. Tuesday's meeting might be a good time to do that.

It appears the jail took center stage during the meeting. I LOVED THE FRONT PAGE OF THE STANDARD! I told my husband you know it is going to be good readin' when you have Kent, Cecil AND Monica Massie on the front page!
I do agree that an Adult Business would need to be regulated and may not fit in Todd County. I just don't want to banish anyone though who is seeking an opportunity to possibly bring a business here.

Hurrah for Herman Schutt having the bravado to stand up and take the criticism.
